Hi. New to the forum (have a few posts). I have a bunch of Pentuim 4 chips I'm selling. I have 11 2.40 GHZ chips and 12 2.8 GHZ chips. I also have one 2.8 GHZ "pinless" chip for sale.

Selling the 2.4 for $5 each or $40 for them all (save $15)
Selling the 2.8 for $7 each or $70 for them all (save $14)

I also have DDR RAM chips: 22 256MB

Selling the 256 for $5/pair or $40 for them all (save $15)

And last I have Heatsinks to match. I have 21 of these. I sell these for $5 each or $90 for them all (save $15). And there's 3 with copper centers. these are $7 each or all for $20 (save $1). There's also the circular one with copper bottom (this came off a 3.0GHZ P4 Chip). That's also $7.

And then there are these misc. Heatsinks. these came off those side cards and the ones stacked to the right came off the mobo (the mounting pins on these are broke or bent, and the rest don't have any at all). Just make an offer on these. Or I'll sell the lot of them for $15.

These prices can be negotiated, but please be mindful. As for shipping, tell me what you want and to where it's going, and I'll run to the post office to get an exact amount. I only charge exact shipping.

I get these things every now and then so if I run out and you want some, let me know and I'll let you know as soon as I get more to see if you still want some. Thanks for looking!

Jose

Edit:
8 2.4/512/800 - 9 2.8/512/800 left
All 256MB DDR Left
No 512MB DDR Left

No 2.8/512/533 left
No 2.4/512/533 Left

Sold:

jrmunro: 2 2.4, 2 2.8, the 'pinless' 2.8
Xaar: 2 2.4, 1 2.8
Marcin: All 512MB DDR

They are all desktop Chips. I'm located in Portsmouth, VA.-USA Sorry for leaving that out. Got to update my profile.

jrmunro, email me your postal code so I can find out for sure.

neon_wa, i'm not sure what 400FSB is or what the specs are. I'm still pretty new to the CPU thing. I usually just distribute this stuff, but now I'm trying to learn about it. So if you could help me out with this, that would be great.

This is what the P4 Chips say on them:

9 of the 2.4 say this:

Intel '01
Pentium 4
2.40GHZ/512/800
SL6WF
(8 are made in MALAY and 1 in Costa Rica if that matters)

2 of the 2.4 say this different:

2.40GHZ/512/533
SL6RZ
(1 in MALAY 1 in Costa Rica)

11 of the 2.8 say this:

Intel '01
Pentium 4
2.80GHZ/512/800
SL6WJ
(9 in MALAY, 1 in Costa Rica, 1 in China)

1 of the 2.8 say this different:

2.80GHZ/512/533
SL6PF
made in China

the 'pinless' 2.8 says this:

Intel '04
Pentium 4
2.80GHZ/1M/800/04A
SL7PR CHINA

Hope this helps a little. I'll post what the RAM say when asked.

Jose

Thanks for the help. I appreciate that! Whats the difference between the FSB's? What do they mean? And how important is that and the sSpec?

Does it matter which FSB you get?
And got you on the 'pinless' one.
Thanks.

The FSB is what speed the connections between the cpu & other main components.. like memory. So the higher the FSB.. the quicker it should be between them.
The pentium 4 started on 400 progressed to 533, then ended being 800. Depending on the motherboard... it depends on what FSB chips you can use. (I have some 400FSB boards i keep going so i can use some ISA slot technology cards Laughing )

The sSpec changes when they fix or change how the processor runs.. or even the power they use, but most ppl neva concern themselves with this info.
If u look on this page.. http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_4/Intel-Pentium%204%202.4%20GHz%20-%20RK80532PE056512%20(BX80532PE2400D).html
u can see the SL6RZ wasnt the first version (B0 core stepping) of this processor.. but the second generation as it has a C1 stepping.

I wont get into cache sizes.. but all urs have a 512kB cache. Pentium 4s came with 256, 512, 1M & 2M. Depending again on ur motherboard.. is what cache size processor it can take Very Happy

I would take one of each, if still avalable. So that would be:
- 1x 2.40GHZ/512/800 SL6WF
- 1x 2.40GHZ/512/533 SL6RZ
- 1x 2.80GHZ/512/800 SL6WS
- 1x 2.80GHZ/512/533 SL6PF

I would prefer shipping to CPUShack (located in Oregon, USA)

Thanks a lot! Very Happy

Best regards, Xaar.

jrmunro and xaar
I only have one 2.8/512/533 chip.

jrmunro you asked first, but xaar asked for these specifically first. Decide amongst yourselves who should get this chip.
