Does anyone personally know Andamus and know how to get in touch with him? I have been trying to reach him since Dec 1st but have not gotten a reply from him. He reads most of the PM's but doesnt reply. Kind of bummed about this Sad

Did no results show in bablefish?

Just some joking with Andamus's zone dialect, as the message is for him.
(I know, but I had to sell it right Smile, means "answer to them as they are growing anxious").

I normally would never talk about a transaction between myself and another collector like this but the lack of communication has gotten to a point where a resolution needs to be found.

Andamus and I did a large trade from his sale back in May and was supposed to send my chips to John.

http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11621&highlight=andamus

2.5 months ago when John sent me my package I noticed Andamus's chips werent included so I contacted John and he found that he had never received the package from Andamus.

So I contacted Andamus and he replied and said that the package had been returned to him a few weeks before but he hadnt had the time to let me know.
He also mentioned that the nicest chip I traded for came back broken in half Sad
I Pmed him back and asked him to ship the remaining chips to me along with a couple chips John bought. That was on Nov 23rd.

So two months later I have not heard back. What bothered me was that he continued to buy chips from the For Sale thread but wouldnt reply to me Sad.
i know someone is going to not like that I am talking about a transaction like this out in the open but I don't know what else to do.

If Andamus just disappeared I would be worried about him but he has read 4 out of the 5 PM I send him and continues to buy chips here.

So I am curious is anyone else in the middle of a transaction with him?

The fact that he has been actively buying chips partially answers the question for me.

He have disappear some years ago for a time and was back and finished trades/purchases with all. History likes to be repeated. So don't worry I'm sure he will be back and finalize deals with you.

For me, it would be extremely painful for a long wait (or unknown) for a vintage cpu. Sad

Yes, to my experience, the two or three sales to andamus I had made finished successfully at end, but it need a long time to communicate with him, and slow response, but finally they are done.
so just wait, hope everything would be all right.

PS: I combined the chips ordered by tlccomp to CPUShack in the end of 2008( if I memory serves me )before getting the payment. and send the total to him via PM, but have not gotten any reply for almost one year, and I also found he started to sell some rare chips on his ebay store, I guessed he was quiting collection....finally he read my PM several days ago and said he was still in collection Smile . I hope I will get the payment or trade with him for some chips Smile
