CPU upgrade socket 478

Hello I'm new at this forum and would appreciate your help.
Have tried to search in cpu-world but couldn't find any method to help me.
I want to upgrade my CPU.
I have a D1450 mainboard (fujitsu siemens scaleo 400 PC).
The current CPU is an intel celeron 2.00GHZ, FSB 400MHz socket 478.
I'm searching for the best compatible Pentium 4 CPU to my system. Couldn't find any thing to help me on this. What I know is that my mainboard can take 533MHz fsb. I think my board can take CPU voltage 1.53V. Could you help me finding a list of CPU:s that would match every criteria or tell me what is the best CPU for my system?

Quite vague, as any motherboard manufacturer has its own specifications, it could be Northwood or Prescott core cpus, as they share 533mhz FSB.

You should try to get information from Siemens.


So, taking for granted that anyNorthwood core with 512 kB of L2 cache will work, go here

If you go for a Northwood core 533 fsb and 512kb of cache, you should just be safe; if you want more juice than you have to find other infos.

Even though your motherboard may support up to 533mhz FSB, but the BIOS may have set to accept 400mhz FSB only, that's happened to a few laptop I tried to upgrade before.
