Packard Bell M5 255 change cpu for ht upgrade bios and error

hi i have packard bell m5255 celeron 2500 i want to change to SL7NB but when i change the procesor to sl7bn laptop doesen't start his display only bios screen. I read here cpu-world.com/sspec/SL/SL7NB.html that i must upgrade the bios, but when i upgrading the bios from support.packardbell.com/uk/item/?pn=P880400501&g=2000 (for ht) it show me error, then shows contact to support , now black screen is all the time. how i can recover the bios? i did not make a recovery bios disk . i cant find a old bios to make recovery disk bios

I understand it right - you have always completely black screen when PC is turned on (no bootblock information) ? Floppy is reading at boot ? At first try resetting CMOS by battery or jumpers. If still black screen and floppy is not reading then you must programm bios eeprom chip on flash programmer or change whole motherboard. BTW. Technical support sucks in most cases so uncle google is your best friend in finding solution.

there is no floppy in this laptop only cd-rom , when i insert cd with newest bios ,cd-rom reading disk but nothing happen

Packard Hell. They suck ASS. Cheap useless crap.

Anyway, sorry you have a problem. A couple questions..

How do you know the new cpu chip you purchased is working?

So putting the old chip back in an it doesnt work at all? Have you shagged the old chip with poor handling?

Is it possible you flashed the wrong bios?

...

So you see.. so many avenues to proceed. Good luck. The only thing they are good for is wedging under your fat chics ass on the bed so you can get a better angle.

it does not want to render accessible bios too

vendor says it's work, but i was upgrading the dos with old celeron

it is possible However i download it from producer site

on page is two for choice

I have missread. So you have notebook ... hmmm ... not good. Notebook service to flash eeprom is only way Sad I had problem with wrong BIOS flashed only with one manufacturer - Acorp. Anyway good luck.
