Does anyone know what "2" suffix stands for on the MC6800L2?
The Datasheet I have makes no reference to the "2" at all
Thanks in advance _________________ The Older they are the Better they are. |

the same issue applies to 680x & 68000 moto chips... as part markings changed with time
this appears to marked using the 68000 method.. but 68000s didnt appear for nearly 2 years after this
could easily mean 2MHz part.. but that would generally be marked as 68B00
have a look at the general overview of Moto parts

I had already looked at that but it does not really help a lot _________________ The Older they are the Better they are. |

you may (and probably will) never know
A major client may have just asked them to be marked that way _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:
