| How do some of you collectors with large or valuable collections insure your CPU collection? For home owners insurance, if your collection is destroyed in a fire, their policy is to replace the lost item with a new equivalent replacement, which is totally useless in this case. If you want to insure the real value of your collection, you need to get it officially appraised. Have any of you done this or found someone to officially appraise your collection to the satisfaction of your insurance company? |

I asked my agent and he is willing to include it by my named amount in my "Hausrat-Versicherung". Thatbis the one that covers furniture, clothes, CDs etc inside the house. Just single items with more than 10.000 € value have to be extra declared. _________________ You may use the photos I have posted here under CC BY-NC-SA license. |
