In sore (rare) cases this would be slightly faster:

By the way, Buffalo made 600 MHz upgrade for socket 7 based on overclocked K6-III+/550, HK6-MS600P-NV4.

Another similar one (with the same p/n Smile)was based on K6-2+:

It was quite popular in Japan.

Sure AMD K6-2+/III+ line was the fastest if you able to use it.
If classic socket 7 (66 bus, 2.8 V), then probably K6-300 for integer math
and Pentium MMX 233 for floating point.

Looks like this mobo's lowest core voltage is 2.5V.
Too high for 2+/III+.
You can try e.g. K6-III/400AHX (would be 0.1V over spec) without adapter.

If you need to run "+" you need lower voltage, 2.0 or 2.2V.
Adapters have VRM on board for this reason.

Another problem is - most likely you'll need bios upgrade for any amd cpu with L2 cache on die.
