|
|
Hello to all,
I'm new here so I hope I'm posting in the right section.
I came across old ICs. There is one in particular I can't identify as it doesn't have any writing on it. Here is the top :
and the bottom.
.
To me, it seems to be a sort of RAM, according to the die which is pretty similar to what I can see on an EPROM : a lot of space seems to be some sort of storage.
I have to mention that the glass on the top of the die is perfectly flat. It seems to have glue traces but they are underneath.
I do know this type of package used by NEC for his 4116 DRAM chip like this one :
Any clue ?
Thanks a lot ! |

If you can get a clearer image of the die, you may get an answer.
If you have a flatbed scanner with a very very high DPI, you should be able to get enough resolution for someone here to identify it. Otherwise a good camera with a decent lens should do just as well. _________________ My collection |
