It's some sort of Sandy Bridge quad-core based on the die size/shape.

I imagine it is on a LGA1155 interposer?

Unfortunately QDF0 is usually used for mechanical or thermal samples, so I'm not sure if this chip would run.

It would be silly to put a mech sample on a lga adapter...
Even if it is right, qdf or qdf0 qspec is usually for mech samples, I guess it works.
Any case, it is worth of course to keep it for collection !

QDF0 and QDF1 are usually used for mech samples BUT I have seen a working Haswell ES with the qdf QDF1. So there's a decent chance this one may work too.
