Short of going chilled water, will my single 360+triple 480 external loop be sufficient to run a W3690 at 4.8 GHz? Board is a P6T7 WS Supercomputer.

On my opinion logical limit to work at point 4.6GHz even with with with good water . 4.2 GHz at good air cooling.

There's a good number of W3690 submissions on HWBot for ~ 4.8 GHz under H2O, with very aggressive voltages. I'm not sure how long Gulftown survives under that kind of voltage & power, but it should be relatively doable.
