Found this morning. No heatsink.

Listed in CPU World database as 49G2988 Ceramic PGA with heatsink 80486DX2-50 overdrive processor (FRU92F0147)

I have this one in the library. The same without heatspreader?

This is the back. The numbers match pretty well with yours. Almost identical in fact.

Is that Type-2 Processor Complex (FRU: 92F0079) card?

As for the IBM CPU, it has the FRU 92F0147

According to these sites, it is listed Intel 486 Overdrive version.

The Overdrive works the same as a 487. its a full blown DX processor an in a 487 socket will take over for the SX

Confused so not an ordinary 486DX2-50 but an Overdrive DX2-50
