The best I can figure this is that they are all from the same wafer. The most I have seen the same before are 4 identicals. Nice chips  |

The serial code on the back matches as well Marcin. I dont know if that number is a wafer code for sure, but there must be some way for Intel to trace back to batches if there was a problem. If it is a wafer code, and depending on the yield from the wafer then I think the number is much less than 1000.
Does anyone know the wafer yeilds on the 486? |
