|

What a total pain Cyrix chips are...
I now have several different versions of the Cyrix MII chip, only because they have different printing on top. Some of the printed differences are so minute, that yo wouldn't notice the difference unless you studied them for a while.
11 different types of printing found so far!!!!! bloomin eck!
I hate collecting CPU's! LOL |

yes, exactly that. Here's a pic.
1st Row: Cyrix MIIv
2nd Row: Cyrix MII
3rd Row: Cyrix MII (grey MII)
4th Row: Cyrix MII (grey MII, black Cyrix, Bold spec text)
5th Row: Cyrix MIIv (grey) Similar to Row 1
6th Row: Cyrix MII (Small MII with spec number)
P.S. I said 11 different examples of gold top, I was wrong as a few of those where actually M1 not M2's. Sorry. |

I'm starting to think after further examinations of these chips that Row 2 & 3 are the same chip and row 1 & 5 are the same chip.
I am going to make a guess that the printer was running out of ink... could I be right? _________________ 4000+ chips.
