|
|
I have an AMD 486DX2-66 CPU that says "Philippines" on it. I noticed that all the photos that I've seen of AMD 486s show they are all made in Malaysia. Is this rare or just rarely photographed?

I've got 21 AMD 486 Ceramics including trades and none of them say philipnes on them.
Malaysia is printed differently on a couple. _________________ 4000+ chips.

Likewise, I've got 15 different AMD 486 ceramics in the collection, plus trades, and none have Philippines on them. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Out of the 102 AMD 486's I have, only 3 are made in the Phillies. Two DX2-66's, and one DX4-120. Great find _________________ http://www.RareCPUs.com
