Hi,
What method do you guys use to remove annoying stickers under cpu ?
I use small knife : US Army to cut and after that I use kitchen towel (paper) with petrol.

Too short, no chance for scratching,
too long, they break - even though I have hard fingernails women dream of - but enough intimate details;-)
The good thing using your nails is you will never scratch your chips.

i have a little container of rubbing alcohol, i usually just drop the chip in there so its submerged and let it soak for a day or two, then i use a towel to rub it off once the sticker is soaked and the glue is broken down a bit
on the top, anyhow.. on the bottom i usually use a towel but i wrap it around a pen or something so i dont bend the pins |

Nice idea! but I normally can't wait for so long time to see what's really printed on the chip, I'm eager to see all of it immediately and scratch it with all kinds of methods, like a cat, haha
anyway, to make the sticker wet is the first step for me.  |

| if youre impatient, boiling the chip in hot water would probably achieve the same effect quicker. ive done this with a few chips and havent damaged them. id only recommend it for ceramic ones tho, not plastics |
