You need a EMC-socket to mount both FPU's. _________________ Frank. |

If the EMC-socket has 121 pin, my motherboard has one. So i can put a 68 pns coprocessor?
thanks |

Yes EMC takes normal 387 and Weitek + compatibles. I have an adapter, to use both at the same time. _________________ Frank. |

Hi fRaSsL, i'm Bouba
I've a problem...
I've tried to mount the ULSI coprocessor and start the system, but the system doesn't recognize it.
So, (in the bios) i've tried to change the voice "Weitek processor" from Absent to Present. After reboot, the system recognize a Weitek coprocessor.... but i've installed an 80387 coprocessor (ULSI...).
It's right or not?
My motherboard is a MS-3121, i havn't the manual.... i must change a determinate jumper?
thanks a lot
bye |

thanks Elar, now i try this sw.
Hi chipcollector, my motherboard is an MSI-3121. I only found this foto.... http://www.rainbow-software.org/images/hardware/ms-3121.jpg. (this is v3, i have v2, but is equals at 99% ).
The problem is that my motherboard support Weitek coprocessor and Intel 80387 coprocessor, but in the bios appear only Weitek....
thanks a lot |

Hi, I'm Bouba
chipcollector i've tried 87test. The program give me this error: coprocessor not installed or improperly installed.... .
Anyone has mounted a coprocessor, has had to change some jumpers? Or only mounted the coprocessor and the system has recognized the coprocessor alone?
thanks _________________ 1959 : Olivetti Elea 9003 |
