My friend Electronlibre, from www.x86-guide.com , gave me this odd Athlon XP AXDB2400DKV3C.

It seems to have a Thouroughbred core but I cannot find any information concerning the "B" letter...

Any hints?

Probably a Boxed CPU. Quite rare.

AXDA could be for OEM/Tray

It is a wonderful find.

I would guess that xhoba is correct, it is a custom part for an OEM customer. It may therefore have some slightly different specification.

For example, it might have a different power rating, like the low-power AXDL processors.

Also an early production CPU. Week 36 of 2002 is early September; the 2400+ was released on August 21th, 2002.

The CPU looks in excellent condition. Nice find!

I agree with Neon, it is probably an Athlon XP 2400+ with different TDP.
