Think you have to consider whether a processor family natively supports dual processing, as all processors can be used in multi-cpu systems if someone designs the system to support it.

The Celerons yes did run in a lot of dual systems, but guessing there was extra errata compared to P3 equivalent

Compaq made quad Pentium systems for processors that natively only made for dual systems or other manufactures added extra processors to act as go-between the CPUs
At what point do you consider the line

Looking at spec update all desktop Coppermine P3 support 2-way, except cA2 stepping which were not validated for Dual processing

I added a note about cA2 stepping to all socket 370 CPUs up to Pentium III 800 (the fastest one made with this stepping).

Also desktop Coppermine-T are validated for Dual processing, but only listed as 1-way

This is fixed now. Thank you!

Hi Genna,

http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/29050/AMD-AM29050-40GC.html

The 44,7 cm x 44,7 cm for this Am29050 and other 29050s listed is way too big Wink
