I have this little processor but I don't know much about it.
Is it a good item for collection or isn't it?
Thanks.

I was actually at the conference when Transmeta was announced.
Transmeta was the biggest news in the industry. The chip actually translates x86 machine codes on fly. That made Transmeta very flexiable in term of compatibility. Its low power consumption was targeting at the laptop and portable market. However, its poor performance and not-so-low power consumption made it less popular than predicted. _________________ My Intel CPU Museum: http://www.mynikko.com/CPU/

It didn't disappear; just barely surviving. If you notice some super-slim laptops or tablet PCs, you will see it actually uses Transmeta; and you will not be suprised when you see the low performance, _________________ My Intel CPU Museum: http://www.mynikko.com/CPU/

Looking at the replies. it looks like everyone but me is seeing a picture of it. Is there a photo that for some reason I'm not seeing? _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Thanks - now I know what to enable in Zonealarm
Geez, these firewalls might be great for security, but when they don't let you know everything that is being blocked they can be a pain in the butt! _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

HEHE I set the "Internet zone security on High" and the "Trusted zone security on Med."
Works for me.
