While doing some Slot 1 experiments with an Asus P3B-F, I noticed that both my Pentium 2s 233 are for some reason insanely slow...
If I run Windows 7 with a SL2U3 350 @ 233, it works obviously slowly, but pretty fine, booting in a few minutes. If I use an actual Pentium 2 233 MHz SL264/SL2HD, it is insanely slow, still booting after more 40 minutes!
Is there any known bug affecting Steppings C0/C1 that could cause this?
There are many articles about some Math Bug, but I don't really think that it would cause such slow down...

I don't know any significant differences between Klamath and Deschutes other than the process node. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Do you use more than 512 MB of memory?

Yes, I used 1 GiB = 4 x 256 MiB
I reduced to 512 MiB and it now works fine, thank you !
