CPU validation on ASUS P4P800 SE: https://valid.x86.fr/vlp7zg
Need to do on a 64 bit OS, but can confirm at least the setup of Windows XP x64 boots without complaints
HWINFO for some reason reports the SL7QB as an SL88K |

| Report it to Martin, he replies quite quickly for HWiNFO bug reports. |

An sSpec can only be detected on most chips by guessing from the CPUID data. SL7QB and SL88K are the same as far as most software is concerned, and he may not have known about the presence of EM64T instructions when he coded this. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

It's rare case when sspec can be determined by software due to unique 64 bit capability.
But there are hundreds of sspecs not distinguishable by software.
I think HWiNFO should at least warn user with red letters - "It's quessed sspec, I don't really know!".
Or better to remove this feature instead of providing misleading information. |

Reminds me of this:
Imagine if it actually was a T7600G, holy shit. |

Biostar G31-M4 - works great (you need to add some good and active cooling to VRM).
There is a patched BIOS for it on bios-mods.com to overcome TDP limitations. |

Forgot to mention, Socket 478 prescotts are soldered, so it might be harder to delid
in another topic, added the Biostar G31-M4 to the working board thread |
