It was the IBM POWER 5 MCM and I liked it a lot but there were rare ones that I couldn't collect so I sent a message to some big shots and I wanted to buy more of these things and this was my first speech here as a student who wasn't rich.

Yes Sir And I don't have a credit card that can be used for foreign exchange and I'm working on it but I think it's worth it. |

That's a POWER7 MCM (as stated in the picture) that was developed for the defunct BlueWaters supercomputer. They are a part of what became the Power 775 nodes that were drawers with extremely high compute density and was aggressively water cooled. This was in a 2011 time frame.
There's a similarly sized I/O module, with electro-optical interconnects that would also be a very cool part to own. I fear that these parts are extremely rare and I've never seen any on the market, even though there should be tens of thousands of them built. Googling for PERCS and POWER7-IH will give you more information. _________________ Always on the look out for POWER, PowerPC and Power Architecture information. For photographs, information and parts to buy. Am doing research at Wikipedia |

I think they're probably still in service and maybe I'll see them when I'm 40. Thank you, Sir. I'm impressed by how informed you are. |
