I' ve been reading the forum threads for 8 months.

At return minus 4 days, I was instructed to be brief.
It seems meaningless sentences of humor offend, while attempts at a genuine apology have no value.

Chiefish, your suggestion was on.
Two of the drives were either corrupt, or corrupted during the testing.
Spinrite doesn't like the drives so they'll be eliminated for now.

Ran PC-Check, a PC Geeksquad software from a colleague at BestBuy.
The summary shows a failed CPU stress test, and a failed Internal Cache
test.
Neon, I think your comment about yanking the HDDs may have been on also.

Downloaded Iso's MultiBoot diag.
After patting myself on the back for resourcefulness of getting the GeekSquad diag, my bubble got busted as I found the diag on Iso's MultiBoot CD.

Oh well.

Can't help but to think that there is something I missed.
Vezhlys, your posts had me go back and recheck again.
Good thing, because the PC-Diag prog's summary has changed from the last scan.

Still one HDD.
Removed and reinstalled the partition.
HDD passes all tests - so far.

Focusing on the mpu and usb ports.
