Truth is that it's even possible that some other company made what we now consider to be a microprocessor, but didn't realise it.

It seems that FF's statement and the single chip proof described in that document beats the 4004 out.

I am sure this will not have a strong effect on 4004 prices on ebay but maybe on AL1's

They are around some , just keep youre eyes open for them, I am the one who gave them to Kosmo and I have seen them several times for sale on Ebay. Just be patient.

The thing that you should remember is that they were produced only for Four-phase, so unlike 4004 and 8008s, which were sold to other companies, very few stockists will have them. Could they be the new C4004 tray trace ? Wink

By to way, have anyone "Computer Desing" magazine number from -69, what had article about AL-1?

...Or have anyone technical documents about AL-1?
