CPU WORLD RECORD HOLDERS
8088 Records
I really like these threads so let's make one for the 8086!
There will be 3 separate categories, for the C8086, D8086 and P8086. In all of them, there will be the subcategories Sample/non-sample. We will not distinguish the variants with suffixes (C8086-4 for example).
The CPU should be early enough to be in the list.
I did some research among collectors of early Intels to have a bit more than nothing, but if you don't want your name here feel free to tell me. In another hand, to be in the list, you need pictures of both sides.
If there are multiple dates, we take the most recent one.
Let's go! Updated 2021-06-14
In case of tie(s) at rank n, the next one is ranked n + 1.
An user may appear multiple times in the ranking.

Probably got restested/marked a week later (or more likely the next day/shift) |
I got it in my hands and this is not a smartphone display fault. Datecode is hard to read but under magnifier it is definitely 7822. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Nice, thanks everyone ! Updated
Feel free to submit early D8086s and P8086s as well !
In particular the P8086s, I wonder if there exist Pre-Fpo plastic 8086s (never have seen before).
If there are multiple dates, we take the most recent one so I count yours as 7823. Rule added.
Bravo for the 2nd place (though as said it is a shame that one pin is missing)! _________________ Stelo.xyz Museum (CPU Collection and more) |
