CPU upgrade for Satellite P755-10K

Hi, my question is:
can I upgrade my old Satelitte P755-10K processor i5-2410M (PGA) to one of those:
Core i7-2760QM
Core i7-2720QM
Core i7-2710QE
Core i7-2670QM
Core i7-2630QM
?

It's very likely since they're all Sandy Bridge family and the i7 chips were an option on that model as well. Only thing that may be different is the cooling solution. Some heatsink / heatpipe assemblies have a smaller copper contact pad for i5s than i7s. It's not often but it came up once when another user on here upgraded. Chip worked fine but they had to get the heatsink for their laptop if equipped with i7.

The TDP is slightly higher on the i7 chips but not by much. I'd definitely make sure you're running the latest BIOS before swapping chips though.

Yes. I second mavroxur's advice to update the BIOS first, though. The BIOS update can be found here: https://support.dynabook.com/sscontent?contentId=3555441

You might need a heatsink assembly with a thicker heatpipe for the quads, however. Depending on your Satellite P755's configuration (with or without a dedicated GPU), the heatsink assembly's part number is AT0H70020A0 for the integrated graphics configuration, or AT0H70050C0 for the dedicated graphics configuration.

I don't know how to look for a heat sink... Could you help me, please? I have dedicated gpu Nvidia GT 540M and I will try to replace the processor with the I7 2760QM.
