Do ES chips normally have the year of manufacture on them as well? Mine has '06 with the identifiers, which I have always read as meaning 2006.

Yes, they do. Take a look at this line:

C652BC65 QXJL ES

the first alphanumeric string is an FPO number, that contains manufacture date:

C - test site
6 - year (2006)
52 - week number
The remaining 4 digits/numbers is a lot number.

unfortunately i dont think this will fit in my hp dv9035nr Sad

i wonder if it will fit in my dell 1505 or latitude d620.. i dont think either is 800mhz compatible

This one may be a tough one

Been googling for about an hour an near as I can tell it's greater than 2.2Ghz
Suspect it's a 2.4ghz with 800fsb
