Intel this week announced Xeon E7 v2 processors, boasting new architecture and manufacturing process, as well as quite a few new features, that greatly enhance their performance. The best performing chip in the E7 v2 lineup is a Xeon E7-8890 v2, which has 15 cores, 37.5 MB L3 cache, and 2.8 GHz base clock. The CPU supports Turbo Boost technology, that can "overclock" it up to 3.4 GHz. However, there was faster unannounced E7-8895 v2 SKU launched this week, that has all the features of the E7-8890 v2, with the exception of 200 MHz higher Turbo Boost frequency. It also has lower maximum operating temperature, which means that it may need better thermal solution to realize its Turbo Boost potential. As was already mentioned, its other characteristics are identical to the E7-8890 v2: 15 CPU cores, Hyper-Threading support, 37.5 MB of last level cache, and 155 Watt TDP. The E7-8895 v2 supports DDR3-1600 memory, and, like other Xeon E7 v2 SKUs, uses socket LGA2011-1, or socket R1.
Who is the customer?
Who is customer candidate for E3-1284L v3
besides Mac mini.
Strange you need desktop GPU in a server aside from
doing OpenCL stuff or rendering farms
but with just 47 TDP.

I have a feeling it's a dry run for Crystalwell Xeons.
